One of the top sellers you see in the list above is WayFair. As I was poking around Amazon, I noticed them showing up a ton in our searches. They have over 200,000 reviews and this seller clearly knows what they’re doing… Just about every item in their shop is winning its Buy Box. Getting Amazon reviews has to become systematic to generate sales.
Chromebooks are super cheap laptops that are based entirely on the Chrome browser. You need an Internet connection for the laptops to do anything. But, for the most part, people are Internet-connected when they’re using a laptop, so it’s not a huge limitation.
Good one Will Mitchell! Really liked the reading. I am working for a company whose main domain is optimizing for Amazon. This post will prove to be very helpful for me. Thanks a lot for sharing such a helpful & good read.

With that said; I’ve would have to give ballpark of around 5-7% for seller feedback (even worse conversions for product reviews) averaging the highs and lows of niches, marketplaces, product quality, etc. etc… high end is about 20-23%.
Any industry person can tell you these lists have their problems. There’s a barely concealed editorial bias. Bookscan, the database that tabulates book sales, inexplicably doesn’t include Amazon’s ebook sales. There’s even the possibility of manipulation, as outlined in a 2013 Wall Street Journal article called “The Mystery of the Book Sales Spike.” Still, they remain relatively hard to crack. In most cases, your book not only has to be good enough for a legitimate publisher to publish it, but you have to outsell all the other books out there, past and present, even if you’re paying for it out of your pocket. We’ve had clients sell close to 10,000 copies in a single week and miss landing on these charts.

Before Asus’s latest flipping Chromebook came around, pickings were slim when it came to affordable models with full-on Intel Core processors and 1080p displays, not to mention touchscreens, backlit keyboards and USB-C ports. It may use an Intel Pentium chip on the low-end, but the Asus Chromebook Flip is by no means low-end. Compared to what’s offered by the competition, the Asus Chromebook Flip’s value is unparalleled, and that’s without getting into its pristine tablet mode, which blows other hybrids completely out of the water.
“This is a very nice and lightweight cover that goes above and beyond what previous versions of Amazon-branded e-Ink Kindle covers have done: it is super-compact, lightweight, and holds the Paperwhite about as snug and secure as you can imagine.” – Michael Gallagher, Amazon reviewer
The actual way Amazon does calculate the Overall ranking though is a trade so this is relying on reverse engineering changes seen after getting sales jumps/or doing free giveaways. And apparently there is also a dlooars per sale weighting in there, as in some cases fewer sales of a higher dollar book can push you up more than a lot of sales for a 0.99 book. Lastly, I am sure that Amazon reviews trends for this very closely and tweaks / adjusts their algorithims frequently to help guard against people gaming the system to their detriment.
Here are the top 500 sellers on the Amazon.co.uk marketplace. The feedback shown is only that received from sales on the UK marketplace. The feedback data will vary from that in the global list above, for merchants selling to other European marketplaces using the same account.
