I noticed that Amazon more specifically categorized Semi-Charmed Life as a book about blogging, which struck me as sort of funny because my novel’s main character Beatrice Bernstein is a blogger, but the novel is not exactly Blogging For Dummies. But what did I care? I was No. 3 among upcoming blogging books! (I decided they should create even more specific lists like books featuring bloggers, written by Brooklyn-based journalists with cats named Mina and Waldo — I’d have to be No. 1 in that!)
You may remember that Amazon keeps track of which products people end up buying after searching for a given keyword. They then use that data to help them decide which products are most relevant to the original search term.
One of the top sellers you see in the list above is WayFair. As I was poking around Amazon, I noticed them showing up a ton in our searches. They have over 200,000 reviews and this seller clearly knows what they’re doing… Just about every item in their shop is winning its Buy Box. Getting Amazon reviews has to become systematic to generate sales.
To show you what’s going on behind the scenes when you use Amazon, let’s start by looking at the URL for a search term you might want rank a product for. When I search for “stove top espresso makers” from Amazon’s home page, here’s the URL that we get, shown in the image below:
The sellers above do not have to follow Amazon rules because they sell a lot for Amazon. If you buy from Amazon, find yourself the little seller who has great feedback and has described what they are selling. Question the seller before buying (I’d stay away from every seller listed above, they have no time for answering question and no time for customer service).
I am a Part of one of the top 6 Amazon companies in the world. We are selling in com, de, fr and uk and our feedback rates are: com 1 out of 7, uk 1 out of 5.5, fr 1 out of 6.5 and de 1 out of 11. maybe that helps to interpret the feedbacks better 🙂
Research over the past few years shows that the more devices Amazon sells, the more likely people are to use them to buy products from its website. In 2013, a report noted that Kindle-reader and tablet owners spent about 55% more money on Amazon than non-Kindle owners. And in 2016, Amazon Echo owners were found to spend 10% more money on Amazon than they did before they owned the device.
As you would expect from a computer in this price range, this HP Envy has some great components that will fly through most common computing tasks. The Intel i7 processor is remarkably fast, as is the 750 GB 7200 RPM hard drive. If you perform a lot of intensive applications on your computer, then this could be the right computer for you.
Amazon also stated that 60 percent of holiday sales were made from a mobile device. Purchases made using gadgets were especially brisk on Cyber Monday, as Amazon sold 18 toys per second, via mobile devices. This indicates shoppers are moving away from the computer and grabbing the phone or tablet to shop online instead.
“The secret to cracking the New York Times Best Sellers list is that they only compile the list based on certain stores that report their figures,” she explains. “The first question any book lover should ask when you go into a book store is, ‘Are you a New York Times reporting bookstore?'”
Amazon has various ways of ranking products, but one of the least understood seems to be the Amazon Bestsellers Rank (also known simply as ‘Sales Rank’). This post will hopefully help you understand , as a customer, which books are selling well in a certain topic, and as a seller, which products may be your main competitors.
It would seem as though Nintendo Labo could already be a success, at least in the United Kingdom. The creative product is currently topping the video game best-sellers charts on Amazon UK. The most popular Nintendo Labo product is the basic Variety Kit which retails for £59.99. It should be noted that the products went live on Amazon UK yesterday. The kits are due to be released in April.
ASUS ZenBook is lighter, slimmer and faster than other notebooks in its class to give you the unmatched power and all-day portability you need to conquer your day. And when other glossy notebooks show more glare than what’s actually on the screen, ASUS ZenBook always shines through even the sunniest days thanks to the 13-inch matte anti-glare wide-angle IPS display. Featuring the new Intel Core M processor, do more with faster speeds and enhanced efficiency that automatically adjusts performance to what you’re doing. Add to that the incredible responsiveness of the Solid State Drive (SSD), everything from startup to loading demanding programs happens in a flash. And like the silent power of an electric sports car, the fanless processor and SSD give you all the power you want–without any of the noise.
Not very good quality. So much sellers are missing. Sometimes a seller is missing only in one marketplace. For example KW-Comerce in europe. There you have only two markets instead of 5. And KW is one of the biggest. ?
Here are the top 500 sellers on the Amazon.ca marketplace. The feedback shown is only that received from sales on the Canadian marketplace. The feedback data will vary from that in the global list above, for merchants selling to other North American marketplaces using the same account.
