I think the variation in feedback rates is fascinating. Some sellers like Pete below do report up to 20% while others just get feedback on 2-3% of sales like you. It seems to vary by country, but I’m guessing product category, price and other factors also play a part.
Amazon offers the Acer Aspire 5 A515-51G-53F6 Intel Kaby R Core i5 1.6GHz 15.6″ 1080p Gaming Laptop for $585.50 with free shipping. That’s the best price we could find by $44. From what I understand, this can sometimes be because a product is new, or that they just haven’t had any recent sales, so they simply don’t rank against other products in that category… hope this helps!
Let me just point out, from personal experience, that the figures posted by Regan on how many sales we can expect a book to be achieving, depending on its overall sales rank are only good for amazon.com or english titles. Smaller markets (for instance french language books, or italian language books like mine) will have much lower sales for a certain ranking
Henry Holt and Co., the publisher, ramped up its rollout in the wake of the Guardian leak, at which point details of the book continued to surface online. It was reported later on Wednesday that Fire and Fury also included claims that Trump was “befuddled” by his election victory in November 2016, that political ally Rupert Murdoch once called Trump a “f—ing idiot,” and that Melania Trump cried when her husband was elected president. (The First Lady and the White House both denied the latter allegation, which was first revealed in an excerpt printed by New York Magazine.)
The end of the year is full of book rankings and charts of all kinds. What about summertime? Amazon has two proven ways to find the books that are worth reading. You can jump to each list right from below:
The screenshot in your main article shows that Amazon treats paid and free sales differently – they are actually different bestseller lists. They used to be published side by side, with the top-selling free book in a category to the left of the top-selling paid book, but as your screenshot shows, they are now different pages.
Lower your price – If you’re eligible, pricing is pretty much the sole determining factor. All you have to do is find out what your competitors are selling your product for, and offer to sell and ship it for one cent less. Voila, you rank higher in the Buy Box.
I’ve been driven nearly to distraction that my BSR Category keeps getting placed incorrectly. The product category is correct, but instead of it showing BSR of Electronics, it shows BSR in Office Products.
Two weeks ago, if someone had asked me for my number, I would have barely resisted the urge to wink lasciviously at my own reflection and quip something super-lame to my husband Andrew about how lucky he was to have such a hot wife.
By 2021, Amazon is expected to take at least half of all online sales. The company has built out its e-commerce dominance mainly from selling tons of items at cheaper prices — and with faster delivery — than its competitors. That means the products, and how many of them it sells, are very important to the company.
It’s easy enough to guess why the Chromecast is popular. First, it’s cheap—$35 for a gadget with functionality similar to other streaming devices in the $50 to $100 range. Second, when it debuted, Chromecast immediately sold out—at the Google Play store, at Amazon, and at other retailers. Whether that was by design or due to inept supply chain management isn’t clear, but one consequence was that Chromecast took on the allure of a hot, in-demand item.

While Super Mario Odyssey was the best-selling game on Amazon, the most popular game-related product was the $20 PlayStation Store gift card, with the $10 variant coming in second. The most popular console on Amazon was the Switch, while the DualShock 4 controller was the best-selling accessory. You can see the complete list of Amazon’s best-selling game products here.
Here are case elegant but affordable covers and sleeves designed by third-party producers to fit Kindle Oasis e-reader (second generation, released in 2017). They are a great alternative to the original Amazon Origami stand case.
Packed with essentials: Don’t be fooled. Built inside this thin design are the latest Intel processor options. The Inspiron 14 3000 Series has a slim 22 millimeters edge, so you can slip it in your laptop bag or travel bag without losing precious space
My company is fairly well ranked on this list and our units sold in a 12 month time are more than 40 times the number of feedback comments received. That means we only get feedback on about 2.5% of transactions…and we actively request feedback from every customer.
“If a book has cracked the top 100 and and particularly the top 20 and stays there — the duration is a huge part of it, if it stays there for a few days — that is generally a very strong sign that it is going to be a New York Times Best Seller and that it is going to start showing up on other lists,” Eisenmann says. “To hit that top slot is huge. It means that a book is selling hugely during the period it is there.”
They also package poorly…so your purchase will no doubt look like road kill by the time you get it…and they lie about condition of product (outright lies or instead of condition they state they have thousands of satisfied customers…then you get some smelly, torn up product).
