Quick Note: For some reason, removing the ?url=search-alias returns a different set of search results… Not sure why, but either way make sure you keep that in if you want to make it look like someone searched for that keyword from Amazon.
Here are the top 500 sellers on the Amazon.com marketplace. The feedback shown is only that received from sales on the US marketplace. The feedback data will vary from that in the global list above, for merchants selling to other North American marketplaces using a unified account.
Yes, as a Chromebook lover, performance, speed and lag free experience is very important for me. And Haswell based Intel 2995u has given me the best experience so far. Battery life is 8 hours and it is not very noisy either.

The Dell XPS 13 is, bar none, the best laptop you can buy today. It features a revolutionary design that’s astonishingly thin and light. Fitting a 13.3-inch screen into such a small frame means Dell has created a nearly borderless Infinity display. It’s a powerful and long lasting machine even by today’s Ultrabook standards. The XPS 13 comes outfitted with Intel’s latest Kaby Lake processors plus lighting, quick storage and memory, all while coming in at a very affordable starting price. For these reasons, it easily takes the top slot as the best Ultrabook and the best overall laptop.

Curious as to what electronics are the most popular? Starting in the world of e-readers, Amazon’s Kindle has remained a leader. One of the most popular models, the Kindle Fire, is full-color tablet that cost less than $200.
Amazon’s not interested in its products gaining a spot at the top of the best-seller list because it makes tons of money from them. The company typically sells its devices at-cost, or even at a loss. The bigger picture is that Amazon uses its products as a catalyst for selling more items on its website, and for hooking users into its ecosystem.
“I bought this in December 2013 and I use it daily as the extra storage for my music and photos in my phone (currently an Xperia Z5C). No performance issues at all. I do really recommend this micro SD card.” – Paco Hernandez, Amazon reviewer
Generally, price is the biggest criteria for purchasers of Chromebooks. They are often around $200 for some decent hardware. Even with low promotional pricing on Windows laptops, they were passed over on Amazon in favor of the top three Chromebooks. This can’t be what Microsoft wanted to see. Of course, this is just Amazon; I suspect inexpensive Windows laptops did okay at other retailers.

But it’s begun to feel a bit like a losing battle. Because those authors are everywhere these days. The title of my fake book was “Putting My Foot Down” for a reason: I’ve become utterly exhausted with phony “authors” and the scam artists and charlatans who conspire with these folks–the cottage industry that has built up around them, selling courses, instructions and hacks. A quick Google search returns dozens of “bestselling books,” courses, packages, schools, secrets, summits, and webinars teaching you how to become a “bestselling author”. Hell, this guy even promises to show you how to be a bestselling author “Even if You Have No Book Ideas, Writing Skills, or Any Clue Where To Start” in a “5 Phase Formula.”
Note that not all sellers use unified accounts, and those who don’t aren’t easy to identify as cross-border merchants. Seller “dodax” is a good example of that, appearing in the top 10 for the UK, France and Italy – but using separate accounts on each.
So those merchants have really embraced selling on multiple marketplaces. You don’t have to go far down the list to find a seller whose largest marketplace is not their home country – KW-Commerce. They are actually based in Berlin but their biggest marketplace (by feedback) is Italy.
Here are the top five products in every major category that we found at the time of writing. Check back regularly as we’ll continue to update this list with new best-sellers (just maybe not as often as Amazon does!).
In a country teetering on the brink of civil war, two young people meet—sensual, fiercely independent Nadia and gentle, restrained Saeed. They embark on a furtive love affair, and are soon cloistered in a premature intimacy by the unrest roiling their city.
After the US, Italy has gained the most sellers in the top 1,000, adding 14 to the list. The UK has lost the most sellers, followed by Germany with 86 on the list this year compared to 108 last year. Sellers whose primary marketplace is Amazon Mexico are yet to make a showing.
Absolutely, it will overrate some and underrate others. However, it is comprehensive and transparent and, I believe, the best without making a lot of shaky assumptions on average feedback rates, sales prices etc. etc. So I prefer to keep it simple, and be upfront about the source of the data and its shortcomings.
Every computer enthusiast knows the conversation—the one you get from friends or family: “Hey, I need to buy a new laptop. What do you think of this Acer so-and-so? Or should I get this Dell that costs $50 less? They seem pretty similar.”
