I guess my learnings have been innital sales can give you the positioning that you need to attract future sales and its great to have a plan for this. Now I’ve promoted this organically I’m starting to settle into retargeting traffic and PPC adverts to get a consistent awareness out.
This is a fantastic list to motivate current and new sellers. It is well thought out, detailed and well presented. Well done! Amazon do get bad press time to time. What most sellers forget is that Amazon only charges on the sale of the item. Unlike Ebay or PPC where it is a pure gamble unless you know what you are doing. I would however add caution to ensure offline and other sales channels are also utilised and not rely 100% on Amazon sales.
What this also means is that a book that’s ranked 800,000 can see it’s rankings skyrocket to 200,000 just with a couple of sales. As you move up the ladder, however, Amazon’s complex algorithm kicks in soon thereafter making it harder for you to break through the 100,000 milestone, and even harder to get past 10,000. This is because these higher rated products have historical data to back them up, so a lull in sales for them won’t result in as dramatic a drop in rankings as it would for a new product with less data to draw on. In all, the ranking seems to be somewhat logarithmic.
A popular choice among best selling HP laptops on Amazon are budget class HP Stream series, HP Touchscreens and HP Chromebooks In this article I’ve listed 20+ best selling HP laptop/notebook computers for 2018,…
This is my method for buying on Amazon (eBay in disguise), eBay, Abes: ask questions before sale about packing, when product will really be sent, do they provide tracking, have they described condition, what is their feedback like (go back and see how many people are dissatisfied each day for a month or so…tedious, but if you have people every day saying you screwed up, something’s wrong), do they respond to emails and do they answer the questions asked?
Use Fulfilled By Amazon – You’ll get a special orange Fulfillment By Amazon icon (see above) on your seller listing when you use FBA. You’ll also be able to compete on Amazon Prime listings, which is reason enough to join by itself. Plus, Amazon is constantly trying to push sellers onto FBA, so the sooner you hop on the bandwagon, the more rewards you’ll reap.
Since Amazon updates its rankings so frequently, “really what it measures is velocity of sales … over a short period of time rather than an absolute number of sales over a longer period,” says Caroline Eisenmann, an associate agent at Frances Goldin. “What it reflects is how a book is selling relative to the other on Amazon during any one time.”
The Acer Aspire E E5-575G-53VG $549.99 at Amazon.com has shot to the top of the best-seller charts on Amazon.com because it’s one of the best laptop values we’ve ever seen. It’s got a workhorse 6th-generation Intel Core i5 processor, 8GB of RAM (upgradeable to 32GB), a 256GB SSD, a 15-inch 1080p screen, and even a dedicated Nvidia 940MX graphics processor for playing games and photo/video editing.
With all the talk about Buy Boxes, you may think that’s the first thing sellers take notice of when deciding on a purchase. But as RepricerExpress is here to show you, there’s another heavily-weighted factor: the Best Sellers Rank.
To me, intel is a greater problem than m$ – m$ has become irrelevant outside their sphere of influence but intel can buy their way into other markets as well, with their ill gotten loot and strong arm tactics.
Quick Note: For some reason, removing the ?url=search-alias returns a different set of search results… Not sure why, but either way make sure you keep that in if you want to make it look like someone searched for that keyword from Amazon.
So in the spirit of offering you the same expert advice I’d give to my nearest and dearest, I’ve combed through the best-selling budget-laptop lists from both Amazon and Best Buy, and weighed the pros and cons, taking into account the various configurations and specs. Both lists change quite rapidly, so I’m basing this on a snapshot in time—namely, the best-selling laptops on the morning of November 7, 2017.
“This version of the Fire has a great screen display and looking at the technical specs Amazon made some major changes in the display/resolution, and the picture appears more crisp.” – Michael Gallagher, Amazon reviewer
